This comprises of an interview session with young entrepreneurs who despite the seemingly hard situation and lack of support in their environment have stepped out to do something great with their lives.
Young can be 18, 30, 35 – Millenials, so to speak.
I love the dictionary meaning of young that says, “Someone in the early stage of life.”
While an entrepreneur is “A person who thrives for success and takes on risk by starting his own venture, service etc.”
A venture can be an engagement. Something you do or start doing. Not necessarily business alone.
We’d be learning from those who are not bounded by their background or education, but have carved a niche for themselves. Not waiting for opportunities, but creating opportunities for themselves.
From starting a business, to being a social entrepreneur and impacting lives, to chasing their dreams and passion, stepping out with their God given assignment, etc.
It’s going to be a cocktail juice of mixed varieties.
The aim of this feature is that upon reading and listening to the stories of these people, we can be encouraged and motivated to not only chase our dreams but to take daring steps, launch out every idea that is trapped in our mind.
Yes, you can start young! Age is never a barrier.
My Pastor would always say,
Ideas are like rain. When it falls, it falls on so many people. It doesn't have your name on it. It takes prudent people to run with it. Click To Tweet
I am at that phase too. Enough of scribbling on notepads and not taking action. It is time to launch out. It’s time to do. It’s time to step out.
The idea is not to interview Dangote, Otedola or all these big people. But people that are not just youthful and useful, but are also worth emulating because they’ve been able to face their fears and step out. And can hand down the principles that guided them that we can learn from.
Someday, we’d interview those big people. Can I get an Amen?
Are you ready to get inspired?
Me too!
Let the Journey Begin!
Love you guys,
Maureen.
PS: Kindly share, share & share. Would also love to hear your idea in the comment session. Do you have anyone in mind, bla bla. Something spicy we can add, etc.
